Welcome to speak Finnish!
The Living Language Chain (EKK) offers immigrants the opportunity to practice speaking Finnish together with Finns. Its purpose is to help immigrants learn, understand, and use Finnish in everyday conversation situations.
EKK meets once a week in small groups, consisting of both volunteer Finns and immigrants. Participants can speak in a natural way that is comfortable for them.
EKK operates in the spring and fall for four to five months. The conversation groups change approximately every two months, allowing participants to hear different speech styles and meet new people.
