FINNISH LANGUAGE COURSES<\/strong><\/p>\n

Beginners course 0-level
\n<\/strong>Suitable for beginners, studying alphabet, numbers, basic phrases and basic grammar. Daily vocabulary and communication exercises.<\/p>\n

Basic course A1-level
\n<\/strong>Practicing Finnish on A1-level with all parts of the language: talking, reading, listening and writing.<\/p>\n

Basic course A2-level
\n<\/strong>Practicing Finnish on A2-level with all parts of the language: talking, reading, listening and writing.<\/p>\n

Let’s make sentences A1\/A2-level<\/strong>
\nSimple topics, lots of new words and grammar and practicing how to make sentences.<\/p>\n

Mid-level course B1-level<\/strong>
\nFinnish on B1-level. Speaking, reading, listening and writing. Suitable for students interested in YKI-test.<\/p>\n

Finnish-Start<\/strong>
\nOne-day Finnish language course for beginners: alphabet, numerot, everyday phrases and expressions.<\/p>\n

OTHER LANGUAGES<\/strong><\/p>\n

Russian, basic
\n<\/strong>We study the alphabet, do exercises, learn grammar and knowledge of the country. Topics: greetings and farewells, Russian names, introduction, professions, news, eating situations, moving around the city.<\/p>\n

Russian, advanced
\n<\/strong>Various oral and written exercises, expanding the vocabulary needed in everyday situations and learning new sayings and structures. Let’s get acquainted with Russian literature and clear news.<\/p>\n

HOBBY ACTIVITIES<\/strong><\/p>\n

Piano lessons<\/strong>
\nChildren are introduced to music in a funny way. Piano skills improves logic, concentration and accuracy. Lessons are designed considering the age and personal traits of the children. After the music we will discuss the topic with the children. The children get performance experience when they perform at joint evenings<\/p>\n

Children’s art club
\n<\/strong>Creative and cultural art program for children ages from 7 to 13 (5 to 6 years old require negotiating with the club counselor). Program improves critical and creative mind set. We use coloring pens, oil pastels, chalk, acrylic paints, clay and many other materials. Materials are included in the course fee.<\/p>\n

Art club for adults and teens (14 v+)
\n<\/strong>Creative and cultural art program for adults. Program focuses on improving critical and creative thinking and problem solving. You can improve your existing skill or start to improve or get introduced to a new one. Materials are included in the course fee.<\/p>\n

Guitar workshop
\n<\/strong>Learning basic guitar playing and simple tunes.<\/span><\/p>\n

OTHER ACTIVITIES<\/strong><\/p>\n

Family Cafe
\n<\/strong>Guided art oriented activities for parents and children. Family cafe includes also getting to know colors and mixing them and getting to know new techniques and art forms. Fun and pleasant activities with an open mind, and always taking the age and skills of the children in to consideration. Family cafe is also great channel for parents peer support.<\/p>\n
